Our president spoke at the «HALF TIME Conference 2024»

With Mr. Joji Morimoto, Executive Vice President and Representative Director of Tokyo Verdy, Inc. and Ms. Erina Saito, Professor of Biwako Seikei Sport College, Mr. Habutsu, the president of Skylight Consulting Inc., spoke at the «HALF TIME Conference 2024» held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 (hosted by HALF TIME Ltd.).

Under the theme of «Beyond 2024 – Discussing the Future of Corporate Relations between Company and Sports,» Mr. Habutsu discussed the possibilities for sports business in the new era, based on the trends in European sports business. In particular, the following topics were actively discussed.
– The broadcasting rights fee for the Premier League, the top division of the men’s football in England, has reached a ceiling.
– Several football organizations in Europe have invested in women’s football and are now attracting new fans to the game.
– In Europe, advertising-based sponsorship is reaching its limits and European football teams/organizations and their sponsors have started to work together with startups and social entrepreneurs on social issues. This helps to enhance their corporate brands.
